Partial pilots flying log book for J W Blanchard, covering the period from 14 April 1944 to 14 August 1944. Detailing his flying training and operations flown. He was stationed at RAF Lindholme, RAF Hemswell, and RAF Kirmington. Aircraft flown in were Halifax and Lancaster. He flew a total of 31 operation with 166 Squadron, 16 daylight and 15 night. Targets were Dortmund, Achères, Versailles, Gelsenkirchen, Le Havre, Sterkrade, Aulnoye, Marquise-Mimoyecques, Saintes, Domleger, Oisemont, Orleans, Dijon, Caen, Scholven-Buer, Wizernes, Stuttgart, Cahagnes, Belle-Croix-de-Bruyers, Trossy St. Maximin, Pauillac, Fontenay-le-Marmion, Paris, Douai and Bordeaux.
