Air Gunners flying log book for Walter Perkins covering the period from 3 August 1944 to 21 March 1945. Detailing his flying training and operations flown. Includes gunnery course results, attacked by intruders on return and “Death Presumed” final comment. He was stationed at RAF Morpeth (4 AGS), RAF Oulton (1699 HCU and 214 Squadron). Aircraft flown in were Anson, Flying Fortress, Liberator. He flew 23 night-time operations with 214 Squadron. Targets were Stuttgart, Osnabruck, Frankfurt, Mannheim, Horten, Hamburg, Hannover, Munich, Brux, Mönchengladbach, Mainz, Wiesbaden, Hassum, Politz, Bohlen, Duisberg, Krefeld, Düsseldorf, Sylt, Dortmund, Nuremburg. His pilot on operations was Flying Officer Kingdon.
