Dear Sir,

In reply to your letter dated the 9th instant, it is confirmed that the amount of £8 in respect of cash found in your son’s effects is noted as a credit to his pay account.
Will you please forward your son’s postcard in which the authority is given for this to be remitted to you, and the necessary action will then be taken, and your son’s postcard will be returned as soon as possible.
With regard to his personal belongings will you please communicate with the Officer Commanding, Central Depository, R.A.F. Colnbrook, Slough, Bucks in this respect.
