Hello Joan Darling, I suppose you are now all set for the Easter activities. We shall be having Easter Services in the Camp Church. I shall be thinking of you at Centenary at the same time Darling, as we shall be together in spirit if not in actual fact. Padre Mitchell gives some very interesting lectures on Tuesday mornings. He gave one series on Economics & his present series, which has been very well attended is on Christian Marriage. A few days ago we had a gramophone for a short while & played selections from “I give my Heart”, “Merrie Wives of Windsor” & “Dancing years”. They sounded really wizzard [sic] & reminded me of your musical sessions. How I long to hear them again Darling. I hope we shall be allowed some sort of petrol allowance when we get home, as I should like just the two of us to push off somewhere for a holiday. It will be almost like a second honeymoon. I can certainly think of nothing better Dearest, otherwise might only be bothered with people when we just wanted to be together
God Bless Darling
Bob xxxxxxxxx.

An account of the resource
He writes that they will be having Easter services in the camp church and he will be thinking of her at her service at home. He says that the Padre gives some very interesting lectures and that they had a gramophone for a short while and listened to some music which reminded him of Joan. He hopes they will be able to get some petrol allowance when he returns home so that they can go away somewhere together.
