Description
An account of the resource
Flying log book (Partial) for P H C Watson, air gunner, covering the period from 13 February 1944 to 7 June 1944 and for April 1945. Detailing some of his operations flown. He was stationed at RAF Elsham Wolds, RAF Ludford Magna and RAF Witchford. Aircraft flown in was Lancaster. He flew 10 operations as indicated in his log book, the last two being part of a second tour. These were with 101 squadron and 115 squadron. Targets were, Schweinfurt, Augsburg, Frankfurt, Essen, Nurnburg and Berneval le Grand. His pilots on operations were Sergeant Dixon, Flight Sergeant Arnold, Flight Sergeant Carson, Flight Lieutenant Robson and Flight Lieutenant Dick.
