Leonard Cheshire on the right wears group captain rank and Victoria Cross ribbon and is smoking a cigarette. In the background a steward in white jacket. On the reverse '5:57, 8, V85879'. The air signaller is reported as Jock Moncrieff. Additional information about this item was kindly provided by the donor.
