Top left- air-to-air photo of 30+ Lancasters flying at low level over a river, fields in foreground and buildings to rear. Location Blere. A shared label on the album page reads: "En route to Le Creusot" This apparently refers to the daylight operation to the Schneider-Creusot armaments works and power station by 94 Lancasters, of which 106 Sqn contributed 10 aircraft, all returning safely to RAF Syerston.

Bottom left - Air-to-air photo of 3 Lancasters flying, in the distance, at low level over a rural landscape. Location unknown. A shared label on the album page reads: "En route to Le Creusot" This apparently refers to the same operation.

Top right - Four RAF officers in unidentified outdoor location. The two on the left wear greatcoats and peaked caps. The two to the right wear battledress and pilot's brevets. Extreme right is F/Lt Dave Shannon; second from right is F/Lt Don Curtin.

Bottom right - A duplicate of image in item #61782. Two men dressed in bathing trunks sit on grass with a background of trees at an unidentified location. These men are P/O Frank Ruskell (left), Gibson's navigator and W/Cdr Guy Gibson.
