Part of letter dated 15 August, letters 18 and 26 September and part of another dated 26 September. Part of 15 August speculating on activities after the war. Reminds Jess to buy birthday gift for Richard. !8 September letter: states only allowed one letter a month. Birthday greetings to Richard. Mentions being part of singing group and comments on colleague shot down and in hospital nearby. 26 September still no letter from home. They are now allowed 3 letters and 4 postcard a month. Comments on possible future plans. Asks for parcel through red cross with tobacco and chocolate. Starts second letter on same date and notifies change of camp.
