Posted to 550 Squadron for operations. In April 1945 posted to No. 10 Radio School as an instructor. Served at RAF Madley, RAF Peplow, RAF Sandtoft, RAF Hemswell, RAF North Killingholme, RAF Carew Cheriton. He flew 33 bombing operations (19 day and 14 night).
