The collection concerns Godfrey Edmonds (b. 1911, Royal Air Force) and contains his log book, correspondence, and photographs.
He flew as a pilot with and became a member of the Guinea Pig Club when he crashed on a training flight in March 1940 and was badly burned. He returned to flying in October 1941.

The collection was loaned to the IBCC Digital Archive for digitisation by Anita Turton and catalogued by Nigel Huckins.
