Interview with Livia de Savorgnani Zanmarchi

Livia de Savorgnani Zanmarchi recalls her wartime experiences in Trieste, describes the bombing of 10 June 1944 and mentions the destruction of the Beata Vergine delle Grazie church and the Modiano card factory. She talks about the gruesome sight of a cart piled with corpses, and explains how pea soup still brings back unpleasant wartime memories. Livia elaborates briefly on the morality of bombing.
