C A Bramwell observer's and air gunner's flying log book

Observer’s and air gunner’s flying log book for Cecil Arthur Bramwell, wireless operator, covering the period from 16 March 1943 to 9 June 1944 when he was killed in action. Detailing his flying training and operations flown. He was stationed at 2 Radio School RAF Yatesbury, 4 Air Observer’s School RAF West Freugh, 20 Operational Training Unit RAF Lossiemouth, 1652 Heavy Conversion Unit RAF Marston Moor, 77 Squadron RAF Elvington, 1658 Heavy Conversion Unit RAF Riccall, 10 Squadron RAF Melbourne and 51 Squadron RAF Snaith. Aircraft flown in were Dominie, Proctor, Anson, Wellington and Halifax. He flew a total of 12 night operations with 51 Squadron. Targets were Essen, Nuremburg, Tergnier, Ottignies, Dusseldorf, Karlsruhe, Montzen, Lens, Hasselt, Bourg Leopold and Chateaudun. His pilot on operations was Flight Sergeant Davies.
