Handwritten annotation on photograph reads (left to right): Ken (W/Op), Gordon (pilot), Jimmey [sic] (F/E), Les (B/A), Robbie (R/G), Jerry (MUG) and Mac (Nav). This 106 Squadron crew participated in the 20/21st June 1943 operation to Friedrickshafen in Lancaster 'EE191', taking off from RAF Syerston at 21.45 hours, landing at Maison Blanche, Algiers at 07.55 hours. On the 23/24th June return flight to RAF Syerston the crew was one of five 106 Sqn crews who bombed Spezia, again in 'EE191'.
