Robert Greer’s Pilot’s Flying Log Book from 15th December 1941 until 31st March 1943. During this time trained as a pilot. Initially at No. 18 Elementary Flying Training School in the United Kingdom before being posted to Basic Flying training School in America. Posting to Advanced Flying School followed and then on to the Central Instructor School.
Became an instructor at Army Air Forces Advanced Flying School.
Served at RAF Fairoaks, USAAF Tuscaloosa, USAAF Gunter Field, USAAF Turner Field, USAAF Maxwell Field, USAAF Moody Field.
Aircraft flown were Tiger Moth, Boeing PT-17 Stearman, Vultee BT-13 Valiant, Cessna AT-17 Bobcat, Curtiss-Wright AT-9 Jeep, Beechcraft AT-10 Wichita, North American T-6 Texan (also known as the Harvard).
