Title

Five men and a haircut
Herbert John Paice

Description

A man sits on a drum container while having a haircut. He has a towel or cloth draped around his shoulders while another man, in civilian clothes, muddy shoes and cap, cuts his hair. In front of them is an open wooden box.
Flight Sergeant Herbert Paice is holding out a document to the seated man who is signing it. Paice is in uniform with a leather jerkin over his greatcoat.
With the group is another uniformed airman, smiling and looking on. To the right and only partially visible is another airman in a greatcoat.
Behind the group is a temporary canvas shelter, a ladder and other equipment. In the distance is an aircraft on the ground.
The reverse is in the format of a postcard and has written on it: "F/Sgt Bert Paice".
