Transcripts -Todd Hawkins: messages from prisoner of war camps - 5

Includes the last part of letter 19 December 1940 as well as card 31 January 1941, letter 9 February 1941 and parts of two cards 16 February all 1941.

Last part of 19 December finishes instructions about return of his personal effects.
Card 31 January 1941 note he had now received 21 letters and awaiting parcel of clothes. Mentions another airmen from Wembley (donor provides detail on this person as Gordon Dixon repatriated in 1944 article on this appear in local paper).
Letter 9 February reports arrival of 20 letters 15 from wife. Reminds to send photographs, asked to find out if rank confirmed and asks for German grammar book.
Start of two cards 16 February, reports arrival of more letters, asks for more news of home.
