Pilot Roy Bradley's account of the fate of Lancaster JB601. He describes the flight from RAF Metheringham, the crash, his injuries, time spent in hospital and being taken prisoner. Roy mentions assistance given by members of the French Resistance, including Monsiuer Galais and their ongoing relationship in later years.
