The College B team played [deleted] Sherwood [/deleted] [inserted] P.S.C B [/inserted] yesterday and they beat us 4-2. But our A team beat a station team 4-1. There are 9 players missing from our A this year, in hockey & football. We went for a walk yesterday as we do every saturday [sic] evening. A nun died in the Convent the other day, the Convent is our sister school. We have baths once a week. We go to bed at half nine and [inserted] are [/inserted] up at half five. It is getting very warm now. Boys are still coming to the [deleted] school [/deleted] college. I have written to Ronald & Raymond. On certain days before holidays their [sic] no Prep (they call it study) my class and the S.C do study. We have been doing Cambridge Papers only so far. Another my has come to my class today. In the Gospel and Acts we have to learn

I have started French. Is Stevie to take up French?. When my class played Stevies [sic] in cricket they beat us. We were all out for 38 and they were all out for 99. [deleted] We [/deleted] My class had very bad luck though. At the end of the year there are matches for cups of all games [deleted] again [/deleted] for the classes J. C. upwards to the specials play against each other, & 4th to 7th , and 1st to 3rd. the 17th of this month is a holiday but the Cambridge boys will have class no wonder they get such good results. The cup matches have not begun yet. All the brothers here can ride horses. No more news today will write again when the stamps arrive. With lots of love & kisses from your loving son
