Catches up with recent mail and parcels, then catches up with gossip. Says he had recently been in hospital with German measles, but did not miss any flying were he now has 14 hours and 3 solo. Writes a little about training and recent war news. Asks after friends/family and his activities at home. Speculates on future when he returns home. Little news at the moment but would be more after visit to Saint Petersburg. Asks what he should bring home.
