Pilot's flying log book for Flight Lieutenant Stanley Lester Dodwell from 13 April 1943 to 18 March 1957. He was stationed at RAF Brough (4 EFTS), RAF Desford (7 EFTS), RAF Halton, RAF Sywell (6 EFTS), RAF Hamble (3 EFTS), RCAF Pearce (36 EFTS), RCAF De Winton (31 EFTS), RCAF Trenton (1 SFIS), RCAF Picton (31 B&G), RCAF Swift Current (39 SFTS), RAF Upper Heyford (16 OTU), RAF Metheringham (106 Squadron), RAF Coningsby (97 Squadron) and RAF Sturgate (50 Squadron). Stan flew ten night time operations as pilot with 106 Squadron. Operations were to Ladbergen, Neubrandenburg, Horten, Dortmund-Ems canal, Sassnitz, Harburg, Lützkendorf, Molbis, Leipzig and Cham and was involved in the repatriation of prisoners of war from Rheine and airlift from Italy. Following demobilisation Stan undertook as instructor's refresher course and continued his flying career in civilian life.
