A series of eight posters display a range of fund-raising events and programme taking place for War Weapons Week in Cherry Willingham village, Lincolnshire, between 19th and 27th April 1941. The week starts with a Baby Show. Demonstrations during the week include Fire Fighting, First Aid and Keep Fit. The programme includes a range of events from Fancy Dress to Ladies Whist, Darts, Prize Giving and even a lecture. A Whist Drive and Dance take place on the Friday evening. Parades include a Home Guard Parade, Grand Parade and finally, a Church Parade to finish the week. Activities take place at various venues throughout the village. Throughout the week, stamps for war savings are being sold at the Vicarage.
