Shows qualifications as air gunner and wireless operator at RAF Yatesbury and RAF Jurby. Records flying training on Dominie, Proctor, Blenheim, Hampden and Anson. Finally to navigator training at RAF West Freugh from August 1942 to May 1944 after which he went to the staff pilot training unit at RAF Cark. Mentions all the airfields he visited.
