Above the image is the RAF crest and below, the cadets are named as: Colman, E. Rowlands, J.D. and Reynolds, P.J. The officer is identified as Flight Lieutenant A. Crawford and he wears an aircrew brevet.

The reverse of the photograph carries the photographer's stamp and a reference number, 53649. There is also a label on which is written : "Right".
