Letter to Teddle

Dorothy writes that she hasn't heard form Paul in two weeks but is fed up being surrounded by pessimistic people. One neighbour's nephew has been killed, aged 21 and various cities have been 'visited' by and the alarm has been sounded regularly. She had attended a concert and had managed to acquire some writing paper and envelopes and neighbours had given her some cigarettes. She says she has enough food but that it is not very good.
