Lancaster LM718 movement card (AM Form 78)

A movement card recording details of Lancaster LM718. The contractor is recorded as A V Roe & Co Ltd and the engine installed as Merlin 38. The card records the allocation of the aircraft to 61 Squadron on 31 August 1944, it's writing off (category E, missing) on 23 September 1944 and the date it was struck off charge (SOC) as 24 September 1944. Annotation states that this copy of the movement card was obtained from RAF Hendon Archives.
