Horace Bennett's General Service Medal

A pre 1962 medal with ribbon and Cyprus clasp. The obverse shows an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscription ' Elizabeth II Dei Gratia Regina FD'. The reverse shows a standing winged figure holding a wreath over the RAF wings. The ribbon has three equal stripes of purple, green and purple.
