Joseph refers to the loss of the seven airmen on 3 May 1944 at Courboin. Included are photographs of a visit by Joseph to Leicestershire, Clifford Shenton's parents, Graves in Courboin on the day of the funeral and a view over Courboin to the crash site.
The three handwritten sheets in French are translated on one typewritten sheet.
