A single page from Ron Goebel’s Flying Log Book from 4th December 1944 until 1st January 1945. He flew as a bomb aimer with 9 Squadron.
He served at RAF Bardney flying Lancasters.
He flew two night bombing operations with 9 Squadron. His targets were Heilbronn and the Dortmund-Ems Canal. His pilot was Flying Officer Denton.
On the 1st January 1945 he flew an operation to the Dortmund-Ems Canal. His aircraft (PD377) was hit by anti-aircraft fire and crash landed at Heesch in Holland.
