Two pages from Harry Denton’s Pilot’s Flying Log Book from 30th September 1944 until 1st January 1945. He flew as a pilot with 9 Squadron.

Served at RAF Bardney flying Lancasters.

He flew five bombing operations (one day and four night) with 9 Squadron. His targets were Bremen, Flushing, Nuremberg, Heilbronn and Ladbergen on the Dortmund-Ems Canal.

During the operation to the Dortmund-Ems Canal, his aircraft was hit be anti-aircraft fire and crash landed at Heesch in Holland on 1st January 1945.
