Description

Four pages from flying log book for W E Richards with entries from 18 August 1944 to 23 December 1944 covering operations as a Lancaster pilot on 622 Squadron. This being a copy of his operations flown, taken from log book one. He was stationed at 622 Squadron RAF Mildenhall. Aircraft flown were Lancaster and Oxford. He flew a total of 30 operations with 622 squadron, 21 Daylight and 9 Night operations. Targets were Bremen, Kiel, Stettin, Le Havre, Kamen, Frankfurt, Calais, Neuss, Saarbrucken, Dortmund, Kleve, Duisburg, Bonn, Stuttgart, Essen, Cologne, Wesseling, Homberg, Solingen, Castrop-Rauxel, Gelsenkirchen, Fulda, Bottrop, Oberhausen, Kattegat and Trier.
