Aircraft flown in were Tiger Moth, Wirraway, Oxford, Wellington, Stirling and Lancaster. He flew a total of 30 operations with 622 squadron, 21 Daylight and 9 Night operations. Targets were Bremen, Kiel, Stettin, Le Havre, Kamen, Frankfurt, Calais, Neuss, Saarbrucken, Dortmund, Kleve, Duisburg, Bonn, Stuttgart, Essen, Cologne, Wesseling, Homberg, Solingen, Castrop-Rauxel, Gelsenkirchen, Fulda, Bottrop, Oberhausen, Kattegat and Trier.
