Description
Jack Clyde and his aircrew, in uniform, standing and sitting in front of a Halifax. Thirteen operations are marked on the nose of the Halifax. The image is annotated in blue ink ' 10 Squadron, Melbourne, York, May 1943 - March 1944'. Jack Clyde is seated front row left alongside Pilot Officer Reg Cowles (Navigator). Reg Cowles is wearing a flying jacket, scarf, gloves and flying boots. The reverse of the image is annotated 'Front Row L to R F/S Clyde, P/O Cowles (Nav) Reg. P/O Singh (MUG) Freddie, Sgt Phillipson (Eng) George, P/O Bradshaw (RG), F/Lt Pennicott (Skippper), P/O Cox (BA) Ken.'.
