Douglas describes his experiences at RAF Croft before moving to RAF Middleton-St-George. He talks of operations undertaken including one to Berlin in severe weather. Douglas references his crew; observer/navigator Jim Davidson; flight engineer George Nicholson, DSO; wireless operator Frank Rogers; bomb aimer Eric Thorn; and rear gunner Eric Burden and recalls them presenting him with a watch, engraved 'with appreciation'.
