Submitted with information 'Avro Lancastrian G-AJHV, British South American airways (BSAA. On the left. AVM Don Bennett. On the right Sir Alan Cobham, Trial flight refuelled flight, London to Bermuda, 28 May 1947. Bennett was pilot accompanied by Cobham. 3355 miles covered in 20 hours. Rendezvous with tanker aircraft over Santa Maria, Azores, on both outward and return journey, 1800 gallons of fuel transferred on each transfer'.
