Seven airmen arranged in two rows in front of an aircraft with identification number ED562 on the fuselage. The pilot, standing back row second left is Sergeant Stan Slater; next right is navigator Sergeant G V Johnson and far right is engineer Sergeant A Sinclair. Front row far left is Sergeant W E Day with wireless operator Sergeant Thomas Fairclough in the centre. On reverse, 'Day - missing, Grant Brown - missing, Johnny - 91 trips, Stan - 57 (escape with him)'.
