Letter from John Hopgood to his mother

Letter from John Hopgood to his mother

Discusses mother's health. Mentions he would be going to RAF Finningley for his next course on Manchesters and would not come back to Hampdens. Not sure he would like the change but would prefer to finish tour on Hampden and then switch to four engine bombers. Mentions his old squadron commander had been posted. Mentions problems with his throat.
