Allied air crew

Programme of events to remember the crew of Lancaster ME449. Includes images of the crew: pilot, Squadron Leader Stan Slater; flight engineer, Sergeant Ken Foster; navigator, Flying Officer Stoney Mitchell; bomb aimer, Pilot Officer Merv Bertie; wireless operator, Warrant Officer Thomas Fairclough; mid-upper gunner, Flight Sergeant Harvey Porter and rear gunner, Sergeant Donald Morris. There is a diagram of the aircraft with crew positions and a memorial plaque, donated by family members of the crew to 'thank the many Danish people who honoured and helped the allied airmen'.
