Delighted with his previous letter and glad that he had had a good Christmas. Sorry he had not recovered parcel mum sent. Continues with description of activities, news and gossip. Mentions contents of parcels sent. Notes he had attended a few dances and that snooker was a good game. Hoped he would enjoy his visit to London. Mentions his holidays and duty at the church. War news good, hope the end is in sight.
