Letter from Jack Dwyer to his wife

Jack writes that she misunderstood his last letter. He meant he was pleased with her perm and was happy she was looking pretty. They were wakened by German intruder aircraft and anti-aircraft fire. He had a two hour flight looking for bombing damage but found nothing.
