Hope he would be able to visit when he got address of another couple, Mentions that the sweeps had been and created a pile of soot. Continues with description of household tasks and then other activities. Dad was still busy in the garden. Continues with more news and gossip about activities, shopping, family news. Mentions that father had been asked about bomb aimer's duties.
