My Darling,
Just a few lines to let you know I am still keeping very well, I think the few minutes sun-lay, [sic] I am having 8 minutes back and front, is very beneficial, it gives you that fit feeling about the body.
This week seems to be going like last week, so far we have not been air-borne since coming back last Saturday, if the weather breaks may-be [sic] we shall have another hectic weekend, but it’s impossible to say.
I’m so glad you managed to get the extra wool you needed, it sounds so thrilling knitting baby clothes again, I hope it’s not too tireing [sic] for you. Take it very easy. Also I’m glad Pat and Brenda’s
[page break]
coats are so satisfactory.
Mr Winil is certainly very kind to do so many helpful jobs, I must repay him if its only a gift of some cigarettes. Thank him for me.
Went into Lincoln last night and saw ‘First of the Few’ with Leslie Howard, enjoyed the picture very much. Had any further news from Stan yet?
Darling you just don’t know how much I want to have you, even just to cuddle up to, hope you sleep well and are not too cold in bed.
I’ve got a few more bars of chocolate ready might get them in the post this weekend. My love to Pat and Brenda.
Fondest love, yours always,
Jack xxx
