He goes on to describe in detail being shot down by a Ju88 flown by Hauptman Heinz Rökker, describes crew, him being wounded and baling out. He talks about the fate of others in the crew including the engineer who he though had not baled out. He goes on to describe evading, being captured and subsequent treatment, including journeys to Dulag Luft and prisoner of war camps. He describes life as prisoner of war and being liberated by the Russians, and talks about his return to Great Britain and subsequent activities and experiences. Jack describes his post war activities. His second discussion continues with thoughts on life as operational crewman with stories and anecdotes. Finally list crews and noted that Jack died on 13 September 2012. Ends with b/w photographs of his pilot Robby Robertson, air cadets marching, all 7 of his crew and one of 4 members of the crew.
