Gives reasons for not being able to attend an event in the following June due to family illness. Goes on to describe his aircraft being involves in mid air collision over the target. He was blown out of the mid upper turret and found himself outside and although slightly burned made a safe decent. Mentions clothing and parachute type. Describes some of his activities when returning to England. Comments that prisoner of war life was pretty rough. Mentions meeting up with other crew.
