Eight men sat in front of a row of 13 standing men, all in uniform. Edward is seated front row, first left and has his pilot's brevet showing. A sign reading '180' is on the ground in front of the group. Annotated on the reverse; 'Bab Sulza March 1942, Stalag IXC Dulag', 'E F Duncombe 1st Left Front Row', 'Taken at Stalg IXC P.O.W. camp'. The reverse has also been stamped.
