#1 29 air and ground crew arranged in three rows in front of Wellington X, serial LP156 coded DT-D Duck, of A Flight, 192 Squadron, mid 1944.It is annotated '"A" Flight line up with Alan Roach'.
#2 six airmen standing at the nose of the Wellington. Alan is on the left, the others are named.
#3 Five airmen at the nose of the Wellington. Each man is named underneath.
Left to right - Pilot Officer (C E) Colin Murphy (Navigator), Pilot Officer (G D) Graham Wadeson (Wireless Operator), Pilot Officer (P J) Phil Ellis (Pilot / Captain), Pilot Officer Sandy Willhelmson (Special Operator), Pilot Officer (D B)Danny Gaunt (Rear Gunner & Gunnery Leader). Gaunt went on to a second tour, was shot down and taken prisoner.

#5 Four airmen at the rear turret of the Wellington. A further annotation states 'Ops from Davidstow Moor'.
