Part of letter from J L Bromley

Letter describes meeting up with Peter in Stalag Luft 3 and moving together to Oflag XX1B where he shared a room with J W Dicher who had known Peter previously. States that Wing Commander Day had told them what happened to Peter. Says he would like to visit them after the war and return Peter's wings as well as photographs taken the day before he died. One of these photographs is attached. Includes photograph of eight airmen wearing tunics or battledress, five standing behind three squatting down.
