Dear Eileen,

It is with great sadness that I write to you – Danny was so ‘special’ & I know highly respected by his crew ([deleted] the boys [/deleted])

I have to tell you that in his letter to me he said how special you were to him & how he had found happiness again, so I have to say a big thank you for alll [sic] you did for him.

Now you are left with great memories & no one can take those away. *

We shall be wearing our poppies & thinking of you all on Friday 28th.

* Just so glad we made the trip to see you both last year (24 OCT).

With Sincere Wishes

Barbara.
