14th February, 1943.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Taplin:

Your very kind letter of the 10th February, 1943, received and as requested, I wish to advise that the Station Committee of Adjustments located a Post Office Savings book of your son, and it has been forwarded with his effects to Central Depository, Colnbrooke, Slough, Bucks.

For your information, if you find it necessary for details regarding your son's effects, it is suggested you write direct to the Commanding Officer, Central Depository, at the above address.

The name of the Post Office on your son's Postal Savings book was North Shore and the number, 6024. Trusting this is the information you wish.

May I again assure you that in the event of any further news of your son, it will be transmitted to you immediately.

Yours sincerely,
