Dear Mum Dad and all,
I hope you all are keeping fine, and well and doing a nice lot of work.
Well before I forget, You know Freddie (Enoch) who works up Prichards and Golds – well I have had another letter from him. Well cant answer his letters because he hasnt told or stated his surname.
[page break]
he signs his name as Freddie so you can find out this for me and I will reply to his letters.
Tonight we are going to Ripon for the evening although it is a terrible day raining and cold.
I cannot say when I will be home next
But [underlined] Pop [/underlined] Joe Is bringing me a pair of slippers which want
[page break]
soling and heeling.
Will you please attend to this
Must close now: to get ready.
Cheerio
Love
John
