Dear Folks, recieved [sic] several letters this week with insertions from Noah, give him my best wishes and luck Received letters from girls in the office. Dont forget to thank them. Dad, dont bother about sending an instrument because there are plenty here. Anyway I hope to be home soon. Cant play the instruments anyway [censored text]
[missing word] my regards to Joe, Stan, Alf, Mrs Day, Minnie, By the way I have had letter from Violet, She is going to send some photos. I hope she sends them soon, to brighten up this dull place. These chairs are not so bad as they used to be. Perhaps I have got used to them. However they are quite a nuisance. Anyway they cant stop us from singing & smiling. Dad, we are living on the same diet as you did, Remember. Well See you soon. Regards to the Office.
